BK Dnipro (Superleague) added to their roster 32-year old American point guard Henry Dugat (183-82kg-87, college: Baylor). played last season at Debreceni Egyetem in Hungarian A Division. In 32 games he recorded 13.4ppg, 4.5rpg, 5.5apg and 1.5spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention.
The previous (17-18) season he played at Budivelnyk where in 28 Superleague games he averaged impressive 15.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.1apg and 2.1spg. Great season indeed as he was selected All-Ukrainian Superleague Import Player of the Year, All-Ukrainian Superleague Defensive Player of the Year and voted to 2nd Team. Dugat also played 2 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 8.5ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.5apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Dugat won Ukrainian Superleague championship title in 2017. He was also voted All-Ukrainian Superleague Player of the Year in 2017.
Dugat is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in six different countries. Dugat tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in France (STB Le Havre), Germany (Phoenix Hagen), Mexico (Toros, Fuerza Regia, Halcones UV Xalapa and Frayles de Guasave), Sweden and Venezuela (Marinos).
