Grodno-93 coasted past Prinemanye in the opening game of the series. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Prinemanye's 34. Grodno-93 forced 28 Prinemanye turnovers and had a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Forward Andrei Navoichyk (200-91) stepped up and scored 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and power forward Pavel Karasevich (201-89) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and swingman Dmitriy Kuratnik (192-97) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
