The game between Top Four teams took place in Yuzhny. First ranked host Khimik (12-1) defeated 3rd ranked Cherkasy (7-5) 89-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cherkasy. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 50-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Khimik looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American power forward Matthew Shaw (203-88, college: UNLV) scored 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Branden Frazier (190-92, college: Fordham) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists during the contest. At the losing side naturalized Moldovan center Stanislav Zavadsky (213-87) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Alexander Sizov (199-88) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Cherkasy players scored in double figures. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Khimik have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-1 record. Cherkasy at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Dynamo. Khimik are looking forward to face bottom-ranked VolinBasket (#9) in Lutsk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cherkasy will play at home against Mykolaiv (#6) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
