Krivtsov number one in Ukrainian Higher League for round 12 (by Interperformances)

Forward Igor Krivtsov (201-F-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Prometey, receiving a Interperformances Higher League Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (22 points, six rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Dnipro-2 (#8, 2-8) 91-76. It allowed Prometey to consolidate first place in the Ukrainian Higher League. Prometey has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 11-1. Krivtsov turned to be Prometey's top player in his first season with the team. Igor Krivtsov averages this season 13.6ppg and 6.3rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Nazar Kisilchuk (195-F/G-97) of league's leader Rivne. Kisilchuk had a very good evening with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course he led Rivne to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Politekhn.Lvov (#6, 5-7) 92-65. Of course Rivne still keep Group 2's top spot. He plays for the best team in the league and Rivne managed to win all 10 games keeping a perfect record. Kisilchuk is well-known at Rivne and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Sergey Shevtchenko (202-F-95) of Kyiv Basket 2 (#9). Shevtchenko scored 29 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Shevtchenko's great performance Kyiv Basket 2 lost 78-95 to the higher-ranked Khimik-2 (#5, 5-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kyiv Basket 2 can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group 2. They have rather bad season and 2-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Shevtchenko he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Shevtchenko has a very solid season. In 12 games in Ukraine he scored 11.2ppg. He also has 4.7rpg and FGP: 51.9%.
