Maks Adam Konate (ex Cherkasy) agreed terms with Saint Vallier

Saint Vallier Basket Drome (NM1) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old Ukrainian power forward Maks Adam Konate (202-104kg-91). He played most recently at SK Cherkasy Monkeys in Ukrainian Superleague. In 17 games he recorded 9.9ppg and 4.6rpg last season. Konate helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. He also spent pre-season at Al-Ahli (Premier League) in league. The other team Konate played shortly was Budivelnyk (also in Superleague) where in 7 games he averaged 5.9ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.3spg. He contributed to his team winning the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
Among other achievements Konate received Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague 2nd Team award in 2017.
He was a member of Ukrainian U20 National Team back in 2010.
Konate is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in five different countries. Konate has played previously professionally also in Belarus (BSEU-GrandPrint), Estonia, Russia (Krasny Oktyabr and Sakhalin), Latvia (Tartu Ulikool) and Ukraine (Zaporizhye, BC Donetsk and DniproAzot).
