Bottom-ranked Polpharma managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of seven consecutive losses on Wednesday night. This time they outleveled fifth-ranked Asseco in Starogard 76-46. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 30-point difference suggests that Polpharma is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. The game without a history. Polpharma led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Polpharma forced 23 Asseco turnovers. American point guard Johnny Dee (183-92, college: San Diego) fired 18 points for the winners. His fellow American import center Damien Kinloch (203-80, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Sebastian Kowalczyk (188-93) produced 9 points for lost side. Worth to mention a great performance of Czech swingman David Jelinek (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds. Robert Skibniewski contributed with 10 points for the winners. American power forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for AZS Polfarmex. AZS Polfarmex's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Anwil maintains fourth place with 10-4 record. AZS Polfarmex at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with AZS Koszalin. Anwil will play against league's second-placed Twarde Pierniki in Torun in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS Polfarmex will play on the road against Rosa (#3) in Radom and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Rashaun Broadus stepped up and scored 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. At the losing side Jerel Blassingame responded with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza moved-up to ninth place. Loser Energa Czarni keeps the sixth position with four games lost. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will meet at home Stabill Jezioro (#13) in the next round. Energa Czarni will play against Asseco (#5) in Gdynia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

MKS Start will play on the road against Rosa (#3) in Radom and hope to win that game.

There was no surprise in Sopot where 14th ranked Trefl (3-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Rosa (10-3) 67-61. Trefl was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 38-30 second half run of Rosa. They also forced 20 Trefl turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Trefl helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Robert Witka (205-81) nailed 16 points for the winning side and Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. Sudanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Marcin Dutkiewicz (198-86) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Trefl in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rosa have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to third place.
