Very predictable result in Volgograd where sixth ranked Avtodor (6-4) defeated 11th ranked Krasny Oktyabr (4-6) 102-85 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Avtodor. Five Avtodor players scored in double figures. Avtodor's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Vyacheslav Zaytsev (191-89) with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Dmitry Sokolov (214-85) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Avtodor have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Avtodor maintains sixth position with 6-4 record. Krasny Oktyabr lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with six games lost. Avtodor will face Loimaan Korikonkarit (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Krasny Oktyabr will play against the league's second-placed Unics Kazan and hope to win that game.
